IIS Delivers 2 Additional Mobile Units
April 1, 2008 IIS delivered two additional mobile units of their Thermal Imaging Inspection System (IRIS Van) to Alberta’s Infrastructure and Transportation Department, specifically to their Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Branch fleet.
IIS Receives 2008 Minister’s Award for Transportation Innovation
March 31, 2008 IIS and Alberta’s Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Branch received the Alberta’s 2008 Minister’s Award for Transportation Innovation for their Thermal Imaging technology and Thermal Imaging program respectively. This award is in recognition of IIS “Innovation” for using Thermal Imaging to detect mechanical violations on moving commercial vehicles. Edmonton, AB. Canada
